iPhone 5 in Malaysia

After a long-wait, iPhone 5 is finally going to launch in Malaysia officially on 14th Dec 2012.

Update 20/12 :

Try hardly to get the new iPhone 5? Machines? Mac studio? Switch? No stock?
Now you can place an order of iPhone 5 at sen heng, BenQ and the Courts. Must place a deposit. No phone order placement.
If you order at Courts, you can get your iPhone 5 within 7 days. Note : I get mine just in 2 days only.

Check list when you get your iPhone 5

1. Make sure the box is completely sealed.
2. Under bright light, check the screen. It's scratched or there is dust or dirt in it.
3. Check all the edges, corners for the scuff gate or scratched.
4. Camera lens.
5. Ask the guy in the shop activate the phone for you, so that you can check the internal function of iPhone. The camera, loud speaker, and the touch screen.

Some problems, suffgates met by others

1. There a rattling sound when you shaking the phone, facing the camera lens to you. It is either the loose power button or internal component. If it is the power button, Hold the power button n shake it the sound disappear. Solution: stop shaking it.
2. Scratched all around the body.
3. Camera lens get scratched.

note : some stores stated that iPhone 5 is came in a package, meaning that besides buying iPhone 5, you have to buy other accessories like case or screen protector.



Update 19/12 :

iPhone 5 bought in Malaysia which suffer from "scuffgate" cannt be replaced by a new iPhone 5. Meaning no 1 to 1 replacement.

So, please check your iPhone 5 on the spot properly.

iPhone 5 only available for contract-based plan with local teco, Maxis, Digi and Celcom on 14th Dec.

Other Apple Premium Resellers are not available for the purchase of iPhone 5.
